With the new slogan “Albania in Protest” as background in a press
conference, Parliament Member Arben Ristani declared from the Democratic
Party that the Albanian people closed another week among uncertainty,
under the threat of dynamite and thefts.
He appealed the Prime Minister and the Interior Minister to reflect about the difficult economic situation in our country.
“We are in a difficult situation with crime. The state seems to not exist, and the police, which is not being led legally by the Interior Minister, is showing its force with peaceful protesters who were gathered on the street after their family revenues were threatened by the government, while the crime is being taken under protection. Tirana is under the uncertainty of thefts. Only yesterday, a car concessionary and a gas service were victims of armed robbers. The Democratic Party, for protecting the interest of the Albanian population, appeals the Prime Minister and the Interior Minister to reflect about the criminal situation and the uncertainty felt by the citizens. This is the time to mobilize all political and social factors against crime”, Ristani declared.
