Nishani: Do not delay trials

Nishani declared that despite the constant accusations, the justice system is dominated by professionalism.

“Without denying that there are problems and concerns about the corruptive and illegal activities of several judges, we are convinced that our judiciary system is dominated by people of high professional integrity, who need encouragement, support and evaluation”, Nishani declared.

However, Nishani emphasized that the citizens’ right comes first, and this will be a priority for building the report with the justice.

“Delayed trials will not be tolerated, which goes against the rights of the Albanian citizens and the court verdicts stay for months in office drawers, with justice that is being denied”, Nishani declared.

The the Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, asked the construction of an online portal through which the citizens can deposit their complaints against the verdicts given by judges.
