Drita Visha, grandmother of Nazime Visha – the 19-year-old who killed a
45-year-old man that had been having a sexual relation with her for
several years, visiting her house as friend of her family and who had
allegedly kidnapped her before and even threatened her to death –
declared on Top Channel’s “Top Show” led by journalist Alban Dudushi
that the two families Visha and Muca should get confronted with each
other.
Drita Visha insisted that the friendship between the two families has been violated and that the victim’s family should meet the parents of the teenage girl who is now serving in prison, so that they can know the real truth: that Nazime Visha has been abused.
The grandmother of the teenager declared that she had kept her niece at her house and that they had found by chance the weapon with which Nazime killed Fiqiri Muca.
“I didn’t think that she would use the weapon to kill. I told her to be careful, because she could kill herself with that, and it doesn’t resolve anything. And she left the weapon for the moment. When he arrived, he told Nazime that she should rush because he had taken a taxi. She had the weapon with her and shot him. People can say what they want, that he was killed by someone else, but this is even what the experts declared. They (the victim’s family) should stop trying to create other suspicions, because she killed him with her own hand”, Drita declared.
Nazime Visha’s lawyer declared during the show that none of the women rights organizations had helped in the trial. She said that at the Court of Appeal they will have a common strategy of defense for the girl.
