Meta: SMI stands loyal to Shkoder pact

Meta declared that they agreed with the Socialist Party that the current Prime Minister should not be on that post after the June 23rd elections, and this is the most important thing for Albanians.

“We have fully agreed that the doctor will not be a Prime Minister anymore, and the most important thing for all Albanians is the victory of a united opposition. This is certain, and the difference will be extraordinary, with more than 200.000 votes. Other issues are in full accordance with all the norms and rules of democracy. Our relationship with the Socialist Party is very constructive, and naturally even with the other forces of the opposition coalition. And they will be such even after the June 23rd elections, so that we can stay loyal to all the principles that were signed in the Shkoder declaration”, Meta declared.

The Socialist Movement for Integration leader answered to the questions about the declarations of Parliament Member Naco, who said that Meta will be a Prime Minister after the June 23rd elections.

“The first objective of the Socialist Movement for Integration is the victory of the Alliance for European Albania on the June 23rd elections, and reaching a historic result. As regards some given declarations, I think that they do not avoid main objectives that we have. As it was confirmed in the convention organized by the Socialist Party, the coalition is in full harmony with an incredible increase of the collaboration spirit, which makes the June 23rd elections victory even more certain”, Meta declared.

Meta rejected what he called failed attempts of the Prime Minister to put diversion within the left wing.

Same as he declared on an interview for Top Channel this Saturday, Meta blamed Berisha for the Central Election Commission stalemate, saying that the situation is abnormal and in case of failure, there is only one to be blamed.
