“I want to congratulate the two Prime Ministers for the devotion and the courage they have shown during the past months. It is important that what we are seeing now should be one step farther from the past, and one step closer to Europe”, Ashton declared for the journalists in Brussels.

“I want to comment the efforts of the Euroepan Union and the high representative, Ashton, for making the dialogue between Prishtina and Belgrade easier. I am ready to guarantee that NATO fully supports this dialogue.

We are also prepared to play our role. We are ready to contribute, if it is needed.

I am constantly contacting with the High Representative Ashton, and we guarantee a close cooperation and coordination between the EU and NATO in this critical phase of the negotiations, and we are ready to give our contribute in case of need, and guarantee that these negotiations can end with a positive result, which I hope to see soon”, Rasmussen declared.

Northern Kosovo Serbs don’t accept agreement

A few hours before the agreement in Brussels, the representative of the Serbians in Northern Kosovo declared that they will not accept and will not implement this agreement.

According to REL, they declared in a meeting held in Zvecan that they will not accept Kosovo’s institutions and that they are determined to stay under Serbia.

The illegal Speaker of the parallel Parliament in Northern Mitrovica, Ksenija Bozhovic, declared that the Serbian representatives of the four Northern communes in Kosovo, respectively Zvecan, Zubin Potok, Leposavic and Northern Mitrovica, have agreed that no one has the right to sign an agreement that touches the Serbian territory.

“The Serbian citizens are the real sovereigns and no one has the right to go against their will and sign an agreement and other acts for establishing the power of an unaccepted state, the Republic of Kosovo, in Serbian territory”, Bazhobic.
