The Italian Police has undertook a serious anti-drug operation this
Thursday by arresting a large group of criminals, among whom there were
also Albanian elements.
According to ANSA, the local authorities have issued 58 arrest orders and arrested 48 couriers on the act. 162 are under investigation and 74 others have been identified.
Sources say that 26 kg of narcotics have been seized, 23 of which are “brown sugar” heroine and “pink heroine”, while the rest is marijuana and 700 gram of cocaine.
The anti-drug operation was planned by the Modena Questure, code named “Bishti”, referring to the Albanian word.
