An incident took place a few seconds after Prime Minister Berisha ended
his meeting in Burrel. A person launched a brick towards the Prime
Minister’s car and offended him.
He was immediately stopped and hit by the Prime Minister’s bodyguards, who handed him over to the police.
The author of this incident is Halit Hoxha, resident of Burrel. A 52-year-old former metallurgy worker, now unemployed, launched the brick towards the Prime Minister’s car while it was moving. Sources say that the attacker was hit by the bodyguards before being sent to the Police.
He is being interrogated while his relatives are still there. They say that the attacker was drunk during the incident. High rank Diber officials also visited the Burrel Police District.
