Hunger strikers’ situation deteriorates

Seven days after 10 persons entered a hunger strike, after they were
evicted from the homes where they had been living for 60 years, the
health of some of them has deteriorated this Wednesday.
Three of the strikers have health problems and accepted medical help, but one of them, Arjan Xhaferri, refused to be treated.
The residents asked the Municipality to help them with the social residences, or to even offer some soft loans. They refused the proposition of Mayor Basha to live initially in rented houses.
