The Albanian police is facing the problematic of immigrants coming from
Asia and Africa who are trying to use Albania as a transit country on
their trip to European Union states.

100 people have been stopped in August by the regional police in Gjirokaster and Korce, people coming from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Marocco and other nationalities. The Police say that the cause of this is because most of their camps in Greece have been destroyed and they are trying to move.

The best way according to the police reports, based on the interviews taken by the refugees, is the one through Italy but by using the Montenegrin ports, not the Albanian ones, and then go to European Union countries.

The prices they have paid mount up to thousands of Euros, but there have been acses when the emigrants have gone without needing the help of anyone, using information taken by their fellow men.

The Greek crisis has created problems even in asylums, wwith emigrants not wanting to live there anymore by to chose some other European country. In most of these camps they have been treated inhumanly, and Greece has been criticized by international human rights organizations. All the people who have been stopped have returned to Greece based on an agreement for refugees.
