The Municipal Police has freed the public spaces at one of Tirana’s most
important road, by removing every vase of flowers or bar tables placed
on the sidewalk.
The subjects had been notified one night earlier but no one had removed them on their own.
“Every subject has been notified and they have not had the decency to obey to the Municipal Police orders for freeing the spaces. The police will fine all the subjects that violate the law and don’t allow Tirana citizens to walk freely”, declared Vullnet Topalli, director of the Municipal Police.
Although it has been declared several times that the same thing will happen with the business subjects at the Block area, Topalli declared that they will really free the public spaces there.
“We have cleaned some of the alleys, but the Municipal Police will continue in every sidewalk of Tirana. We will cut the illegal parking chains placed by private subjects”, Topalli declared.
According to Topalli, every subject that occupies public space will be fined by 500.000 ALL.
