The famous Albanian dancer, Eno Birko, has jumped from the fourth floor of a residential building in the capital, authorities report.
The incident occurred at around 01:00 this morning, on “Margarita Tutulani” street in Tirana.
The dancer has been part of the state Opera and Ballet Theater for many years, but is suspected of having jumped from the building for unknown reasons.
According to Top Channel’s Alma Demiraj, the 50-year-old dancer is in hospital under the care of doctors and his condition is reportedly stable.
“On 03.12.2024, at around 01:00, on “Margarita Tutulani” street, it is suspected that citizen E. B., 50 years old, has jumped from the fourth floor of a building. As a result, this citizen was injured and is in hospital under the care of doctors,” Tirana police statement said.
