Easier traffic for Tirana

With a fund that was guaranteed as loan by the Albanian government, the
Tirana Municipality built a modern center of urban traffic control,
which aims to solve a series of problems for the traffic of the Albanian
capital through the use of remotely controlled cameras.

“The traffic light system will be used with a maximal efficiency and traffic will be easier and better; will cause less damage and will cause the Tirana citizens less time and money”, declared Mayor Basha.

The government supported the Tirana Municipality with guarantees for the construction of other projects that will make the traffic easier and will improve the quality of the citizens’ life. Two of them are Outer Ring Road segments, the construction of which starts these days.

“We will do everything possible to compensate as soon as possible the backward situation in which Tirana has been so far”, Berisha declared.

The government gave 63 million EUR to the Tirana Municipality for the construction of the new boulevard, and the Prime Minister declared that the same support was given to the government of Edi Rama, but it had been refused for corruptive purposes. Berisha mentioned the loan guarantee that the government gave for the Tirana Ring Road, but according to him, Rama refused to manage it together with the government through a mutual committee.

“It was refused because he had plans for Koco Kokedhima, and our committee would have transparency”, Berisha declared.

Tirana with a new Customs

The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, inaugurated the new terminal of the Albanian Customs in Tirana, and declared that the Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, is proposing to implement the enemy of business, the progressive tax.

“The other alternative is the alternative of chaos. He says that he will create a special office at the Prime Minister’s office, while businesses have met me constantly. We have reviewed all the requests and concerns that have arrived”, Berisha declared.

The government leader promised to remove every obstacle and to absorb the business potential. He added that the constant dialogue with business people is necessary for further successes.

“The economic freedom has brought more revenues and has created new businesses. Albania has a doubled number of businesses in a time of crisis”, Berisha declared.
