DP: Rama will not vote laws

The government’s spokesperson, Majlinda Bregu, declared that the
Socialist Party is looking another reason to not vote the three laws
this Thursday.

Bregu referred to the conditions set by the opposition for voting the laws now, so that they can enter in effect after the elections, and not vote the fiscal amnesty.

“Edi Rama is squirming again. He is inventing dozens of other reasons to avoid the concrete appeal that the Democratic Party and The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, are doing once again, after thousands of times, to vote the three integration laws. Although three days ago he acted as he was agreeing, he is doing the same once again. The vote of this Thursday for the three laws separates two different worlds, two alternatives. The alternative of a coalition that only blocks and boycotts with destructive policies, which send Albania backwards. The other alternative, that of the Democratic Party, is the alternative through which the Albanians signed the Stabilization-Association agreement, the NATO membership agreement, the visa removal agreement and the European Union candidate status recommendations. We will support the interests of our citizens by voting in favor of the laws, because this is our goal, to go ahead”, Bregu declared.
