After the political earthquake caused by the alliance of the Socialist
Party with the Socialist Movement for Integration, the waves are
shocking the local administration too.
Aldrin Dalipi, head of the Socialist Councillors at the Tirana Municipality, declared that the SMI colleagues at the Municipal Council will vote to remove Njazi Kosovrasti as Chairman of the Municipal Council.
“We will take the direction of the Municipal Council, after removing him”, Dalipi declared, saying that this decision was taken after what happened yesterday at the Albanian Parliament with the replacement of one Commission member”.
“The new coalition of our parties will pass today in the Tirana Municipal Council, to guarantee the citizens that their votes, civility and democracy, will be the centre of our work”, Dalipi declared.
The vice leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Ylli Manjani, also announced that the SP and SMI will join their forces in the local municipalities.
“SMI believes that there is only one common objective of the opposition: removing Berisha from power and putting his party in opposition. This is the objective of the Albanian citizens, who pay the cost of the Prime Minister’s dictate”, Manjani declared.
