A new 13 km long panoramic road from Korca to Liqenas, with a Macedonian
minority, has made it easier for tourists to reach the Prespa National
Park.
For the The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, this road not only fulfills the philosophy of his government to cut distances through modern infrastructure, but it is also proof that the Democratic Party asks another mandate with its work, not just words.
“Our language is the number of built roads, aqueducts, canalization systems, schools, health centers, farming subventions, removed visa for all Albanians and an economy that is among the four economies in the European Union that had an economic growth and reduced unemployment during this crisis, as the European Council confirmed”, Berisha declared.
Adding that the domestic production is a key point of the Democratic Party program, the Prime Minister explained that the law of two months ago, which removed VAT for agricultural raw materials, was changed by the public request of the farmers in Lushnje, Korce and Berat, who complained that the salesmen were the only ones who benefited from that law.
“We decided that every farmer should take the VAT of every agricultural input as cash. We did the same thing for oil, and I am happy that we found the best scheme to support you, and not to see all the money going in the government’s pocket”, Berisha declared.
The Prime Minister invited the Albanians to cooperate for another mandate and stop Rama’s blockage of the European Union integration.
“The other alternative, dear brothers and sisters, was boycott and blockage. But democracy functions in Albania, and the June 23rd elections are getting closer. I trust that the Albanians will vote for the Democratic Party, which has showed in these years to be a true locomotive of integration”, Berisha underlined.
