The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, blamed once again Edi Rama
for denying the right to vote to emigrants from the countries where they
live.
“There’s no other reason besides the opposition leader’s fear from their vote. The government is ready to mobilize any fund and adopt any highest security technology, but the opposition has not accepted this”, Berisha declared.
The Prime Minister declared that Rama held the same blocking stance against his proposition to allow 16-year-olds to vote. But this decision, according to the Prime Minister, will be counterproductive for the opposition after the parents of the 16-year-old voters will punish the Socialist Party in the the June 23rd elections.
“We have the law to allow 16-year-olds to work, but we don’t want them to vote. Maybe the likes on my Facebook account have made the opposition be afraid of the 16-year-olds vote. Let’s wish that this will be the last of his blockages. The the June 23rd elections is a special moment to open new doors and to bring down walls”, Berisha declared.
