The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, inaugurated today the
reconstruction of the Sevaster-Kalivac road, from which are benefiting
12.000 residents of 18 villages near Vlora and Tepelena.

For Prime Minister Berisha, every built road increases the commercial connections by making it easier for farmers to sell their productions. According to Berisha, the tripled value of grants and the other fiscal facilities, and the further increase of wages and pensions are the main orientation of the Democratic Party program for the next four years.

“The June 23rd elections are coming. We ask for our votes not for what we have done, but for what we will do. We want to build a modern infrastructure like this in every corner of Albania. We will do everything possible for employment and for increasing the welfare. The road is the main condition for development, after schools. We build roads and roads build us”, Berisha declared.

The Sevaster commune will connect with Vlore through a new road. The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, says that the works for this road are continuing rapidly and that the only purpose of this is to bring every corner of Albania outside the century old backwardness.

“This is the road of our sweat and work. This is the road of our success, of our recovery. This is the road of employment and integration, because we want the Albanians, wherever they are, to exploit the big potential of their country and turn their assets in welfare for the entire country. Because we want to go towards Europe with dignity, and we don’t want Albania to be withheld, as some irresponsible people did for three laws. They will take what they deserve from the Albanian people during the June 23rd elections”, Berisha added.
