The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali berisha, was present in the graduation
ceremony for 50 students who concluded their professional master degree
in Business Administration.

Berisha promised to the graduates that the quality of teaching will improve in the next four years, with support from the Albanian academic world.

“The professional master degrees for the first time in this university is a very great event that proves the progress in every aspect. Every young student must have the right to turn their university dreams to reality. The number of students in our public and private universities today reaches 162.000, while in 2005 we had only 52.000. Eight years ago we had a graduated population at 3.4%, not correspondent to our development pace and eight times less than the European average. We are climbing quickly and in this process it is impossible to install the quality that you want, but there is no other way to reach this quality, and there is no righter way to reach the objectives”, Berisha declared.

The Prime Minister declared that Albania has installed today the Bologna System, and from 6000 university professors that there were in 2006, today there are more than 10.000.

“We will do everything possible for the pedagogic staff to get fulfilled, same as we will do everything to encourage this scientific research and encourage the highest levels of qualification. Let us make one question today. At what place in Albania, or even in the planet, can be better for a tourism university than Saranda? This is the natural birthplace of this university”, Berisha declared.
