Zaev wins local elections in Macedonia

The Party of the Macedonian Prime Minister, Zoran Zaev, has won the local elections in Macedonia.

The Social Democrats lead in several towns, including Bitola, and some communes of Skopje. They have also declared victory in Haracina, a commune with only Albanian citizens.

The Democratic Union for Integration of Albanian leader Ali Ahmeti enjoys advantage in almost all communes of Albanian residents.

Ziadin Sela, leader of the Alliance for Albanians, says he is ahead in Struga.

The Besa Movement spoke about irregularities, for which they have notified the responsible institutions.

Gruevski’s VMRO-DPMNE also complained for irregularities.
