The Prime Minister of Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, concluded his campaign for this Sunday’s referendum, making a final appeal to the citizens for a large turnout.
President Ivanov, who supports the boycott, complained from New York and said that the country is being asked to commit suicide.
Zaev was in Tetovo when he tried to press the idea of national unity, despite his political affiliation and of leaving a big step behind. “Let this generation make history”, he asid.
“On September 30th, we have the obligation to vote for an European Macedonia. The future of our children is in play”, he said.
