Young Greek soldiers sentenced to prison for Albanian flag symbol

Sources from the Greek Ministry of Defense say that the seven recruits
of Albanian origin will be sentenced to 60 days in prison for gesturing
Albania’s double headed eagle with their hands.

50 days were given by the Chief of Staff of the Greek Army, Vice General Alikivadhis Stefanis. 10 other days were given by the Minister of Defense, Panos Kamennos.

This is the maximal punishment that could be given by the Greek army, while the Prosecution is still investigating on the soldiers.

The seven recruits, all of them Greek citizens of Albanian origin, should take their oath on February 2nd.
