Yemen recognizes Kosovo

Yemen has officially recognized Kosovo as independent and sovereign
state, according to the Kosovo Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, through a
message posted on the social networks.
“I was just on the phone with the Foreign Minister of Yemen, Abu Bakr Al Qirbi, who confirmed the decision of his state for recognizing the Republic of Kosovo”, Hoxhaj declared.
Yemen recognized Kosovo two months after the Kosovo Foreign Minister visited this state which is expected to affect other Middle Eastern countries too.
According to the Kosovo media, the official document is expected to arrive in Prishtina in the next days.

Yemen officially known as the Republic of Yemen, is an Arab country located in Western Asia, occupying the southwestern to southern end of the Arabian Peninsula.
It is bordered by Saudi Arabia to the north, the Red Sea to the west, the Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea to the south, and Oman to the east.
The capital of Yemen is Sana, while its population is around 23.833.000 residents.
