Albania will soon have a Memory Institution for WWII, an initiative started by 30 Socialist Party MPs.
The purpose of this initiative is to remind the contribution our country during the WWII. MP Olta Xhacka reveals the details of the proposition in an interview for Top Channel.
“We have brought a draft for establishing an independent institution composed by people from the Institution of History, the Science Academy, Associations of the Antifascist Liberation War. This is an effort to document, analyze and study the WWII period”, Olta Xhacka said.
But how will this institution operate?
“Members will collect data on terrain and will study foreign media, foreign literature in cooperation with foreign scholars of this war. Of course, they will study the archives of whoever was involved in the war and any other information that will be presented through a very professional work”, she added.
