Dritan Hardhij, the Municipal Police officer wounded during yesterday’s
protest at the Artificial Lake of Tirana, says he saw a person hiding a
shovel shaft inside his jacket. “I was hit in my chest and I don’t
remember anything after that”, Dritan says.
Hardhij explains his passion for bicycles and the environment. “From all mountains in Albania, Jezerca is the only one remaining untouched. How can I not be an environmentalist, when our group has 5000 members who want to turn bicycles as the main transportation method”, Hardhij said.
When asked about the protest of the Civilian Society, he underlined that everyone has the right to protest, but within the rules.
