The World Bank foresees that Kosovo will have a 4.4% growth in 2019, mainly encouraged by public and private investments.

This is the conclusion of their report on Southeastern Europe, appealing for quicker reforms, so that the growth can create more jobs.

Marco Mantovanelli, World Bank Manager for Kosovo, said that despite the high economic growth, the creation of new jobs has slowed down, as it is happening in the rest of the region as well.

For the WB, the budget distribution remains one of Kosovo’s biggest internal problems.
