The syndicate of workers in Shkoder held a peaceful protest this
Thursday against the government’s reforms which, according to them, has
impoverished and pushed businesses to bankruptcy.
Dozens of citizens joined the protest and marched on the city’s main roads.
The Head of the Syndicate, Gezim Kalaja, said they are not against the formalization of economy, but against how the reforms were carried out. According to organizers, the protests will escalate.
