The reporters of the show Fiks Fare on Top Channel traveled today to the village of Torovicë in the municipality of Lezhë, in the north-west of Albania, where resident Ylber Pjetërgjoka asked for the help of the show, since the wooden poles of the electrical energy which supply some houses in this village have fallen on the his plots.
The whistleblower tells the journalists that some time ago he complained to the offices of the electricity company OSHEE Lezhë, but the accountant and the electrician of the area “came to see them, but no action was taken”.
The complainant says that he only asked for the poles and wires to be raised, because there is no space to prune his plants on the ground where the poles fell.
The citizen also says that in that area, apart from private investments, there has been no investment from the state.
The material base should come for 100 electricity poles, not for the 4-5 that are in this neighborhood, says the electrician of the area, adding that the repair of the line will be done only for the families of that neighborhood who have complained.
A few days after Fiks Fare’s interest, the whistleblower indicates that the new poles have arrived and the network has been fixed.
