Valbona Carcani had complained to the police one day ago, and 30 minutes
before her husband stabbed her to death, the author of the crime had to
appear at Police Station no.1 to give his version of the case.
But the circumstances were unfortunate for the mother of two children. A source at the Prosecution of Serious Crimes declared that Valbona had complained for being bothered by the former husband.
A police officer contacted with Genci Carcani and told them to appear at the Police this Saturday at 9. Genci Carcani appeared to the police, but the officer postponed the meeting and he waited him at a bar.
During this time he saw his wife crossing the road and he asked her for explanation. Referring to this testimony, Genci Carcani declared that he found the knife on the road on the first declaration, but the second time he declared that he bought it in a nearby shop. The motive of the crime, according to the author: “I killed her because she didn’t allow me to meet my girls or even talk to them on the phone”.
Now that the Criminal Code ahs changed, he will be tried at the Court of Serious Crimes.
