Woman is shot dead, man is injured inside state institution in Kosovo

A grave event shocked Kosovo today as a woman was killed and a man was injured inside the Center for Social Work in the southern town of Ferizaj. The first suspicions are that the ex-husband killed the ex-wife.
The case has also been confirmed by the police, who said in a statement:
“On April 12, 2024, at 2:40 p.m., we received information that there were gunshots at the Center for Social Work in Ferizaj. As a result, a female person died at the scene, this was confirmed by the attending doctors, while a male person was injured, who was sent to the Emergency Center in Ferizaj. The suspect, after tha attack left for an unknown direction.”
Police teams surrounded the area and later managed to arrest the suspect of the serious attack.
Teams of investigators and forensic medicine are at the scene examining the evidence, while the state prosecutor has been notified of all police actions, the announcement added.
