OSCE Ambassador to Tirana, Eugen Wollfarth, organized a ceremony for journalists, diplomats, politicians and other public figures to honor the end of his mandate in Tirana.
Wollfarth greeted the electoral process by and congratulated the parties for accepting the results.
“I’m happy for the fact that the electoral process ended successfully. Things are going well. Congratulations for accepting the result. I’m happy for the fact that I see Albania in a higher scale of dignity and this makes me feel better”, Wollfarth declared.
Wollfarth ended his three year old mandate in Tirana and his next duty will now be in Kuwait. The OSCE office in Tirana will continue without a head until the OSCE will have appointed another one.
The Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha, was present in this ceremony. Based on the recent developments in the country, Basha was asked by journalists if he would run for the leadership of the Democratic Party, but he didn’t answer.
