Elhaida Dani and Riccardo Cocciante are continuing their meetings with Albania’s highest authorities.
The Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, honored the Italian famous singer the “Naim Frasheri” title, with the motivation: “An international artist, friend of Albania, who contributed in promoting the spiritual talents and values”.
“Mr.Cocciante, you have accompanied our Elhaida in her greatest success in music, art, and talent. The culture of the Italian singers has a special place among Albanians”, Nishani declared.
This appreciation causes strong impressions to the Italian song writer.
Elhaida Dani also met the Albanian Prime Minister, who gave very warm congratulations to the winner of the Voice of Italy.
“The Albanians were thrilled that night by your victory and waited for it with great enthusiasm, because it is a great victory to win in the land of music and song”, Berisha declared.
“I thank you for your hospitality and I am touched because I don’t know I deserve all of these honors. I thank you very much about everything”, Elhaida Dani declared.
Berisha thanked Mr.Cocciante for the support he gave to Elhaida. He gave the symbolic sol key to the singer from Shkoder, and the silver coin of Albania’s independence. The Italian songwriter was honored with a silver pen and the 100th year of anniversary coin.
