Liridona Ademaj’s family members have opened the doors for the funeral in the village of Rracaj in Gjakova, Kosovo, while the 30-year-old woman killed on November 29 in Pristina was reburied in her hometown.
She was exhumed from the cemetery of the village of Cermjan in Gjakova, at the request of the family. Hundreds of citizens have gone to console the Ademaj family.
Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xelal Sveçla, also took part in the funeral ceremony of Liridona Ademaj.
Dozens of people attended the funeral ceremony of the mother who left behind two young children.
The 30-year-old was killed on November 29 on “Dalip Alshiqi” street in Pristina in a conspiracy organized by her husband, Naim Murseli.
So far, three suspects have been arrested, among them her husband Murseli.
Naim Murseli is suspected of being the organizer of the murder, the murderers Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla, the latter a member of the Kosovo security forces, appeared the day before the Basic Court in Pristina, which decided a month detention for each of them.
The reasons for the murder of Liridona Ademaj are still unclear, while the investigations continue.
The victim’s brother, in an interview for the show “Albania Live” on Top Channel, said that her two children are staying with Murseli’s parents and have not yet learned the tragic news.
