On April’s Fool day, the US Embassy posted a drawing portraying Donald Lu, the Ambassador, asking “where are the big fish” to a salesman who holds a small fish, while his stand advertises “Big Fish”. The answer to Lu’s question by the salesman is “Happy April fools”.
While one of the characters has a clear resemblance to the Ambassador, it is unclear who is the other one communicating to him.
The US Ambassador has appealed law-enforcing institutions to attack the leaders of organized crime and catch “the big fish”.
However, none of them has been arrested so far. This term has also been used by the Interior Minister, Fatmir Xhafaj, who has promised bigger results from the police.
