According to the World Bank, Kosovo is the country with the highest economic growth in Balkan.
Its economy grew with 4.2% and during the 2019-2020 period it is expected to grow with 4.5%.
However, the World Bank notes that the perspective is vulnerable to foreign and internal risks.
The World Bank officials in Kosovo published the annual report for Western Balkan, in which they assess that the growth for the entire region will be 3.5%, a growth that is high, but fragile.
According to the World Bank, unemployment in Kosovo is 30%. While the creation of new jobs has slowed down, compared to one year ago.
Officials note that the financial crisis in international markets may not spare even Kosovo.
