20 families were damaged in Shijak by the recent floods, while residents feel abandoned since no one has estimated the damage caused to their homes.
Emergency groups are helping residents to clean their omes, while the Vice Mayor of Shijak, Shpresa Domi, said that solution on which they are working on consists of cleaning the River Bed and bring its levels within parameters.
Nazmi Kondo, responsible for the Civilian Emergency in Shijak, said that illegal intervention and constructions made by the river banks have been the main cause for years.
