The Democratic Party of Serbia, DDS, accused the Serbian President, Alexandar Vucic, of promoting Kosovo’s independence with his declarations.
DDS said that Vucic, who said Resolution 1244 doesn’t mention Serbia, but the Federate Republic of Yugoslavia, is causing a serious problem.
“As long as Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council stays in power, it is a guarantee that Kosovo cannot be an independent country. It guarantees the sovereignty of Serbia and its territorial integration, but the fact that it doesn’t mention Serbia is irrelevant, since Serbia is the legal successor of Yugoslavia”, DDS says.
