Voters under pressure by all three political parties

“I can say that the voting was held in a generally peaceful situation. We have evidence that the voters were pressured by all political parties”, said the Head of the OSCE mission to Albania, Audrey Glover.

Groups of militants from all political force were seen in front of the voting centres, taking notes on who was voting and who not.

Militants in Kamza have documented everything: “We have registered the persons who entered inside”, they said.

“We have the proven number of how many people have voted, how many others have voted three or four times. We have seen employees of the National Guard pressuring people and taking them with their vehicles, ten times each. We have monitored everything and we know how many people voted. The video will be sent to our party HQ”, said some of them.

This has actually been going on every time there have been elections in Albania. But this time the pressure was higher since the lack of an alternative has exposed the political affiliation of all citizens.
