Vora Mayor discharged by the Central Election Commission for failing to declare trial he was involved in years ago

Agim Kajmaku led the Municipality of Vora for three months, but the decision to hide things about his past made his career end earlier than he might have thought.
Isuf Shehu, Kajmaku’s lawyer, reminded the Central Election Commission that his client was found not guilty from that trial, and he justified the fact that he didn’t declare it by saying that he wasn’t aware of the procedures.
Kajmaku is the second Socialist Mayor who loses his post because of the decriminalization law.
The Central Election Commission will organize the next elections within 45 days.
