Volunteers join Tirana Municipality’s initiative to plant 25.000 trees at the Vaqarr area

Dozens of volunteers joined the mission to plant 25.000 new trees in the Vaqarr area, where some of the trees are damaged.

“There no better view for Tirana than thousands of people engaged in every corner of the territory to plant trees. I am very proud to be serving to a city where people have understood their mission: that this is not a mission for politics and administration, but a mission for our families. This area is situated right behind the industrial area (Kombinat) which used to produce large amounts of pollution. It is changing today”, Veliaj said.
