VMRO ends boycott of Macedonia’s parliament

The VMRO-DPMNE decided to end its parliamentary boycott, which had been going on for a few months, since when five MPs were arrested for being part of the violent events of April 27th, 2017.

The VMRO leader, Hristijan Mickovski, told journalists that his party will find new ways to oppose the “criminal and incapable government with policies against the state of Macedonia”.

Mickovski warned that the first move of the VMRO will be a confidence vote or the government, which, according to him, has lost its credibility and is not working for the best interest of their citizens.

VMRO has 42 MPs in a 120 seat Parliament, and a simple confidence motion needs 61 votes to pass.
