The works at the Vlore tunnel were inaugurated last night at the Uji i
Ftohte area, which can now be crossed on both sides and will ease the
summer traffic.
Present in this ceremony was Prime Minister Berisha, who promised a series of other investments in the coastal city.
“Built more than 70 years ago, the tunnel had become a natural skeleton, and today it is well clothed, as a decent tunnel for every modern city. The tunnel is 11 meters wide and 4.5 meters high, and the investment rose to 100 million ALL”, Berisha declared.
