The cell phone found in the vehicle of the Vlore Prefect, Besnik
Dervishi, was connected to two detonators set to blow off a quantity of
C4 through a SMS or phone call.
The investigation team members confirmed for Top Channel that the cell phone was fully charged, which means that the explosive was placed minimally 24 hours before being discovered. Why it didn’t blow up, since the vehicle was in Vlore first, and then traveled to Tirana?
“We don’t know if it was just a threat or the criminals were waiting for the right place and moment”, sources said for Top Channel.
Members of the group raise another dilemma, based on the evidence. They say that since the C4 was in powder, and since it had two detonators, chances are that it was not just for a warning.
The Prosecution of Serious Crimes are waiting for experts to find what has this phone been used for in the past.
“However, we suspect that these people might be experts and it would be difficult to find anything trace”, sources said.
Besides the Anti-Terror and the Prosecution of Serious Crimes, the State Secret Service has also been involved in this case.
Dervishi: I believe that the authors will be found
