Vlore, Poro Forest on fire

The fire that broke up yesterday in the Poro Forest has burned more than 200 hectares of pine forests.
The authorities were notified this Thursday morning, and the source spread by creating terrible damages.
Firefighters from Fier and Berat have come for help, while the Vlore prefecture has asked the help of everyone for putting the fires out, but it has been impossible until the late hours of the night.
The situation remains alarming even today.
“We hope that the fire will minimize during the night”, says Ernest Pashaj, head of the Fire Department.
The firefighters have asked for help from the air, since the fire in the pine forest is impossible to be taken under control with circumstantial means.
