Vlore Mayor meets representatives of firm working on “Lungomare”

The Mayor of Vlore, Dritan Leli, gathered the institution leaders for
the floods caused in Vlore, and heard the representatives of the firm
that will work for the “Lungomare” project.
Leli spoke about the measures that need to be taken, and said his inherited a city full of problems with the drainage and sewerage system.
Leli accused that huge concrete masses have damaged the water system, even the one built during the Italian occupation.
He asked the institutions to engage and prevent other floods in the future.
The Mayor met with the Greek firm who are implementing the porject, and agreed that the works will start on September 15th, to not hamper the holiday season.
