More than 30 apartments in the village of Narta in Vlora in south-western Albania have been under water for more than a month after the recent rains.
According to the residents of this village, this is a situation that has not happened for many years, despite the visits of politicians.
A few days ago Top Channel was in this village to see the situation up close, but the situation from the floods has been getting worse, as water surrounds the apartments and many residents have left their homes as they are isolated by water and are helped on a daily basis by other residents.
For the mayor of the village, Mihal Thanasko, the problem lies with the hydropower pupmp, which according to him due to its age has lost the power to pull the water.
