Jorida Tabaku, Democratic Party MP and vice chair of the Committee of Economy, said that the decision for building new airports is a new robbery of the Albanian government.
Tabaku says that the government will compensate companies if they don’t realize profits.
“The Vlora airport will take money from the state budget. If the company doesn’t reach a certain profit, it will be covered by the state. This concession was negotiated by the Nano government in 2003. Another socialist government will give two other airports. At least Albanians must know who is to blame for the high prices of tickets”, Tabaku said.
