The EU Ambassador declared form Korce that the judiciary reform is the
main condition for Albania’s integration. Vlahutin said this is a
critical moment for Albania, since this reform is not disputable.
The Ambassador underlined that it will clarify the progress of Albania and will show what needs to be worked out.
The EU ambassador valued the fact that the opposition returned to work for the judiciary reform.
“You know that we have five key priorities, and three of them are related to the rule of law. These are judiciary reforms. The fight against organized crime and corruption. This is a critical moment for Albania, a historic moment for the country. If this reform will be done correctly, with the right interventions in a system that is clearly not working properly, Albania will progress with faster steps. This is an essential and unnegotiable reform. In other words, it has to be done”, said Romana Vlahutin, Ambassador of the EU.
These declarations came after a visit at the Korce Municipality.
