The EU Ambassador, Romana Vlahutin, handed over to Prime Minister Rama
the progress report by underlining that the European Union is committed
to help the government and all political forces for progress.
“All-inclusiveness is very important. There should be an open debate for the main issues treated by the progress report”, Ambassador Vlahutin declared.
According to her, the candidate status means more responsibilities and more requests.
“The reforms need to be accelerated, and there must be a better implementation of the laws, so that we can see the steps that Albania will take in the EU path”, Vlahutin declared.
Prime Minister Rama, on the other hand, declared that the EU recommendations are in full accordance with the government’s program and will.
