The EU Ambassador to Tirana, Romana Vlahutin, said in a press release that Albania received three positive things one day after the EU member countries decided to open the accession negotiations with Albania in the next year.
Vlahutin asid that there is a lot of hard work ahead for both the EU and Albania.
“Albania received three positive things: the recognition of the recommendation and the job done by the country; a clear date; and the third thing is that the Commission accepted to start the preparations with Albania. It is a huge preparation work that needs to be done by EU and Albania. This is the agenda and you will hear more about this from the next Ambassador. Don’t worry, when there will be details we will share them with you. We are happy, because this allows us to move better”, Vlahutin said.
