The leader of the Self-Determination Movement, Visar ymeri, declared that Albin Kurti and two other MPs were brutally arrested by the police.
The Self-Determination Movement tried to stop the Parliament from ratifying the border agreement with Montenegro and the Association of Serbian Communes after the dialogue with Belgrade.

Ramush Haradinaj shared the same opinion last year and blocked the works of the Parliament for six months with protests. As Prime Minister, Haradinaj expressed his regret for the arrest, but added that MPs must appear in court when summoned.
